iPhone 13, and I've now read the 13 series probably had the best battery to performance ratio. The thing is, each new iteration is now bringing new and more power hungry features with relatively lower battery improvements. So the net effect will be a reduction in battery performance. It's inevitable, something has to give (a bit).

Ah alright, I went from a 13 Pro Max to the 15 Pro Max. I'd say the battery life is roughly the same.

That's great. Are there any hidden features on the 15 PM I should be using? Only just discovered changing the pic quality in settings.
 
Some of his gripes are legit but it also appears that he didn't seek help regarding some and one in particular is downright petty.

1. iMessage fluff... It's unnecessary. I'll give him that.
2. Inconsistency - Top left is back for 99% of apps. Swipe right from the edge if it is inches you are worried about.
3. Settings - Use Control Centre
4. Keypad - Same as iMessage fluff... That Apple still don't have the T9 on the dialer is the stuff of legend.
5. Cursor - Use the space bar
6. Alarm - This is petty.
7. Gmail - Google themselves fudged this but if it is peeking at notifications then he should long press the notification. Using Spark, I can reply right from the lockscreen, mark as read and even delete.
8. Scheduled text messages - I'll give him this too, it's not a deal breaker for me but I'd love this feature.
9. Checking the date - Set your notification style to stack and swipe down once.

Just have the calendar on your Home Screen, date shown automatically there.
