iPhone 15 Rumours & Release Date

I don't get these comparisons. If there really are people out there trying to choose between two phone manufacturers they'll be in the significant minority.

Almost everybody (especially Apple) will just stick to what they have. I cannot imagine the inconvenience of having to switch to Android.

Que? Switching from Android to iOS was pretty easy for me. The biggest hurdle for me was I needed to get a Mac to import my passwords into Safari (most will continue to use what password manager they already do anyway so I'm an outlier). I'm sure switching from iOS to Android will be similar.

iPhone with under-display camera/sensors and international sideloading when?

MacBook, AppleTV, 5x HomePod minis, Apple Watch, Apple AirPods, iPad, Apple Music, Apple ****ing everything...

To replace the iPhone with Android in that mix - madness, and for what gain? Maybe a bit more responsive screen? A slightly better camera maybe? Madness

And vice versa

I'm in the same boat but not quite that heavily invested in Apple.

Have an old MacBook that I use at home but not work. Work machine is a Dell (although I can't wait to get a Mac at work again)
Have Sony earbuds. Use Spotify so no miss there.

BUT: I would miss the integration between my iPad and iPhone. And I would miss moving away from Find My with the family. And I would miss losing my airtags.

Well then this is great news foe battery health in the 15 series.
My 15 Pro Max is still at 100% health after 5 months of usage.

Apple says iPhone 15 batteries have a longer lifespan than initially thought
Apple initially said that the iPhone 15’s battery would retain up to 80% of its original capacity at 500 complete charge cycles. Now, the company tells 9to5Mac that the iPhone 15 can retain 80% of its original capacity at 1000 complete charge cycles.

My 15, bought in November, is still at 100% (as I would expect). This is obviously great news to me :)

Will compare with my wife's 11, which got a battery replacement (genuine apple) around the same time.
