My 14 PM is at 97%. It's about 13 months old. That's a strangely big jump. My 14 is already at 96% battery health.
The iPhone 15 utilizes larger cells via the “stacked” battery production method similar to what is used in electric vehicles. The non-stacked battery method for lithium-ion batteries is produced what’s known as a “winding battery”. Both methods have its own set of advantages and applications.
Anyone who uses their iPhone 15 Pro/Max for occasional Netflix/movies, how much does the island cut into content?
Particularly the wider movies where there are black bars top+bottom. Is there any option to shrink the content so the island isn't visible?
The island is outside the video. No cut into content at all.
From Googling that seems correct for 16:9 content, but for 18:9 or 2:35:1 (like the Me Time movie on Netflix) it seems like it includes the island.

Seems Apple will go back to 7 years of OS support. Not sure they'll drop two iPad generation models in one go though. Seems far fetched. If true, this means that iOS 18 will be compatible with all the same devices as iOS 17.

Rumor: These are the devices that will support iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 - 9to5Mac
iOS 18 will be announced at WWDC in June, and is rumored to be one of the biggest updates ever...9to5mac.com
Que?same generation tho
Use both wireless charging and wired. Notice no difference in battery decline from my previous iPhones. I also just charge the phone went its low until its 100% (or as near as possible if I am leaving the house and can't wait) Previously used a UAG for my 12 pro and using a Moov for my 14PM. The Moove is decent. Dropped my phone a ton and no damage. No lens protector my side.So how do you guys charge your phones? Wired, Qi wireless, magsafe? Heard that wireless charging or fast charging can affect battery health quicker due to heat?
Any good case recommendations? Are the Moov cases at the iStore decent? UAG seems good but they appear quite bulky.
Also, lens protectors... useful or gimmick?
Why babysit the battery? Just replace it when needed.
They replace it unless you take it to a Paki shop.Does it not affect the water resistance?
