iPhone 4S Camera Problem

My 4S camera doesn't seem to work much anymore.

When I open the camera app the phone either restarts or starts the camera fine but wont save any pictures taken.

Any suggestions or should I just reset the software?

Never even heard of anything like this happening before... If no other suggestions pop up in this thread, I'd be getting ready to restore the phone.

Could be a corrupt pics folder.

Doubt it's a problem with the actually camera. Try a hard reset followed by reinstalling the firmware if that doesn't work.

I had the same problem a few times, updated to iOS 6.1.3 and back in show room condition.
