LTE was working if you had one of their 100GB LTE sims, and used that in your phone. I had one of those, and they decided to recycle the number and disabled LTE on the package halfway through the year.

Yes, but those LTE SIMs were only sold with a modem and in certain areas.

As far as I know, they still haven't launched LTE to their general customer base yet.

iPhone 5 supported it, the Cell C network did not for most people unless you had a special LTE starter pack sim.
