You sure didn't think that Apple's greatest iPhones this year will come cheap, did you?
Both new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be available starting Sept 19, but you can pre-order yours on Sept 12. And you better do, since as usual, we can expect them to stay on backorder at least until Christmas.
The Apple iPhone 6 prices will range from €700 (£539), through €800 all the way up to €900, depending on whether you choose the 16GB, 64GB, or the 128GB version. This year there will be no 32GB version. Apple scrapped that instead of making it the base option instead of 16GB.
The iPhone 6 Plus will set you back €800 (£619) for the base 16GB version, but prices will quickly rise up if you go for the versions with more storage. €900 will get you the 64GB version, while the 128GB version will cost the whopping €1000.

I wonder how long Apple will continue with its current naming convention, iPhone 4, 5, 6 will they go up to 10?

I'm not too sure about the iPhone being split into 2 segments, before there was one definite standard, now there will be two, anyway prepare to part with your money folks.

They already started spliting the iPhone into 2 segments with teh 5S and 5C.

As someone who's been on the phablet bandwagon from the very start ... from the original Samsung Note up to the Nokia 1520 .. I am now very happy with my new very small iPhone 5S. Small is the new big for me. The small iPhone 5S plus the iPad Mini is a killer combo.

Didnt you use to be a very vocal phandroid on MyBB a year or two ago?

Yip. Then he made the transition to Nokia/Windows Phone and said he liked it more than Android. Now he moved to iOS. So I'm guessing Android will be next in line!

Just to clarify, I think its cool that these platforms all offer different things and can compete with each other. Its also great that people are able to move between them without too much hassle.

Let's wait for SA pricing and availability. I don't think there will be a short supply or long waiting lists this time roud -I hope.

Saying that name would be hard. 6 plus. The s would trail off into a 6 plussss which is an unpleasant sound to say. 6L is a bit more sensible. It is already stepping on the toes of the OnePlus One.

I do the rounds yes as that gives me the opportunity to experience the good and bad of them all. I've been on iOS before I jumped to Android. I needed to give WP a go and it was a satisfying experience (more so when 8.1 hit my Nokia 1520). There is a place for all of them and the best fit is different for different people and the seasons in a person's life. I'm back in a iOS season and I enjoy it all over again. I get bored quickly so it helps that we have choices.
