We just made a quick iPhone 6 Plus to scale in the office and I must say it's actually not nearly as massive as I expected.

The round edges should make it quite comfortable as well.

Oh I'm not ständing in the queue to get one.

I upgrade when upgrade time comes around, never before that.

At that point I'll see what's out there and get them under hand to decide.

Well it seems the 6 is the better option unless one wants to be part of the #bendgate .

Otherwise Droid :p

The 6 actually has a lower stress threshold than the plus, 70lbs vs 90lbs of pressure!!

It takes a few weeks and one gets used to the size of these things! It's all relative. For me going from an iPhone 5 to a Sammy S4 was quite a leap... for about 2 weeks, then picking up the 5 again was quite a leap in the other direction...

If I were an Appleista I'd het the Six Plus. Love a big phone ever since I got a Lumia 1520.

AFAIK, unlike those with access to genuine Apple stores, SA owners aren't able to kick the tyres for a couple of weeks and return it if they don't get used to the size. I'll probably go for the six for practical purposes.

Since my current one is silver I would probably get a space grey. I personally think the gold is a bit camp. Would at least be 64gb and probably be the 6+

Depends on the price difference.

I had the gold 5S and I'm steering towards the silver or space gray versions of the 6 now. Since the whole back is the same color now, it doesn't look as good in gold imo (for a guy :p). However, I will have to see the colour tone in person if it's anything like the gold 5S which I'm sure it is :) it's quite subtle on the 5S

+1; if I had the cash I would love to get the 6+ 64gb in grey...

In terms of which iPhone 6 I would get, the 6+ 64GB is certainly the one I would choose. 128GB is overkill IMO- I would want that amount of storage in a larger device (iPad Air, for example).

Round edges + thinness could make it a bit slippery.

I'm surprised at how many iPhone users (converts?) there are here!

Well the iPhone 6 is Apple's first half decent phone and it comes in a decent size.

The 6s will probably do even better.

If preliminary pricing is to be believed, on contract, the price difference between the 6 and plus is between R50-R80 per month!!
