iPhone 6 or 6 plus?

Since my current one is silver I would probably get a space grey. I personally think the gold is a bit camp. Would at least be 64gb and probably be the 6+

Depends on the price difference.

I bought a 5S in Gold because I didn't want to wait for stock and figured I would be putting it in a cover anyway.

Surprisingly it's not that bad in person as it appears on pictures, I've actually grown to like it.

A colleague just came from the states and he has the 6. It was in a cover and it didn't feel awkward or big at all. A nice size actually.

Still don't know why the entry is still 16GB. It should be 32GB. I'm a little confused to why they dropped the 32GB. A 32GB Space Grey 6/6+ would have been my choice.

The 64GB dropped to the old 32GB pricing, I was actually quite happy about it, I was thinking of buying 32GB this year so got a nice capacity jump for a small extra cost.

6+ availability is a major issue worldwide - seems like most people are leaning towards this device, I would presume very small quantitates in SA so expect to wait a while before the Apple supply chain catches up..

I am going going for the 6, 64GB silver and will be in line (unless I can pre-order delivery via CellC) next Friday!

Would've cannabalised the 64GB, and it forces the user to upgrade to a more expensive model because the allotted storage is not really adequate.

I mean, 16GB on a phablet? Really Apple? They're not the only ones guilty, mind, but most of them have remedied this by including SD card slots in all of their flagships this year (M8, G3, S5 / Note 4).

I have had my 5s 32gb since they were launched in Australia last year and to me the choice was between a white surround or a black surround display, as I keep my phones in covers for protection as well as better grip.
In the mean time I have also purchased a gold and black LG G3 to try out the size. Plus - great for viewing. Negative - big to carry around in pockets.
I have seen and played with a 6 and it felt good and looked good and was definitely a practical sized phone. But the choice is a difficult one to make and which ever you choose, at some stage you may feel it was the wrong choice.
BTW. The G3 is a great phone and I will be sorry to see it go, but I operate on a full Apple platform and just love the integration of the various devices from Apple.

Lolz -----> China Unicom offers on-site pocket enlargement for its iPhone 6 Plus customers

http://mblog.gsmarena.com/china-unicom-offers-site-pocket-enlargement-iphone-6-plus-customers/

Publicity stunt, even the link says so.

It’s highly unlikely however that these “Pocket Plus” adjustment services are anything more than a cleverly devised publicity stint. Big-screen smartphones are no novelty in Asia (they are highly sought-after even) and I doubt that customers there need any pocket adjustment to accommodate the late-to-the-big-screen-party iPhone.

What are you going for?

iPhone 6? 6 Plus?

16Gb? 64Gb? 128Gb?

Silver? Gold? Space Gray?

Interested to know what the general consensus is...

I've put a little thought into this. And I've decided to upgrade from the iPhone 4S by spray painting it gold.

I was fortunate to have 2 contracts due for upgrade and got a 6 plus and a 6 yesterday.

The plus is HUGE and impossible to use one handed. But in both hands it is pure bliss! Screen is superb and seems more vibrant than that of the 6. Whiter and brighter too and we already know about the superior pixel density on the plus.

The 6 is far more sensible and extremely comfortable and natural feeling compared to the plus. Reachability is a clever innovation, that once used to, should make one handed use absolute bliss. I find it worthless on the plus as holding the plus in one hand I battle to reach the home button. I have small hands and it is just that big!!

Where the plus has a physical presence that's quite difficult to come to grips with, the 6 feels less imposing in hand than even the 5c it's replacing. In fact if you had told me that the bendgate saga was actually a 6 I would have believed that more. The plus is heavier, thicker, bigger and feels bullet proof in hand while the 6 feels petite and a little fragile.

Either way forget using either of these phones naked!! You've been warned...

64gb on both. I'm very much a 32gb man but with that option no longer available....

Yeah, they should have had 32gb as the entry level but then they wouldn't sell so many 64gb I guess

Enjoy your new toys.
