What are you going for?

iPhone 6? 6 Plus?

16Gb? 64Gb? 128Gb?

Silver? Gold? Space Gray?

Interested to know what the general consensus is...

Me:

iPhone 6 silver 64GB

but a bit on the fence with option 2: iPhone 6 plus 64Gb

My gut says iPhone 6 silver, but have FOMO (fear of missing out) when it comes to 6-plus screen size...6 seems more practical for me, and confirmed by some of the market commentary..

exactly the same. except no thanks to the Plus. i have an g3 and 5.2" is just too big and 5.5" is too much.

I have been trying to buy a gold 64GB iphone 6 since they have come out but stock is so scarce!

If you aren't certain that you want the plus size, rather avoid it IMO. Not that it's a bad phone, but it will be divisive in a way that the 6 won't; so if you love it you'll love it, but otherwise you'll hate it and regret buying it. Plus you spent another how much to get it.

I intend to trade in my 5 but until I actually hold the 6 and 6+ in my hands I wont be able to say. It will have to be 64Gb at least though.

Colour? As long as its not brown or pink I dont really care.

Will wait and see contract pricing!

Going to be exorbitant either way but if we talking a monthly price difference of between R80-R100 I will go for the plus.

Greater capacity battery, OIS, landscape mode and superior PPI sells it for me...

Greater capacity battery is purely to accommodate the bigger screen. The normal one actually outperforms the plus on battery life IIRC.

Apple fans, *smh*

iPhone 6+ has 2 day battery life vs the 1-day life of the 6. A bigger battery does much more than just compensate for additional screen size.

Waiting to see them in the flesh before I decide but will most likely be the 6 64gb.

This might help: http://photos.appleinsider.com/iPhone6_preorder_picker.pdf

Cut out and stick on the back of some cardboard..gives a rough idea :)

I played with a 6 last week on a flight from JHB - CPT, UK guy next to me had one..its VERY nice..

6plus might be a little too big for my day to day use (which includes running and using Nike+)...

Will probably get from the US, and get my mate to unbox and bring back in December = $749 (R8,265)

Well it seems the 6 is the better option unless one wants to be part of the #bendgate .

Otherwise Droid :p
