iPhone 6 special event announced by Apple

Why is it a special event? It happens every year. More Apple propaganda

I see commenters are speculating that the large structure they have built could be a fake home to show off the smart watch's home kit functionality. I quite like that theory because longer term controlling stuff in the home in combination with music, and the health stuff, could be the killer features which make wearing a smart watch somehow worth it. The issue all these smart watches have is there simply isn't a good enough reason to put up with having to charge them considering we already carry smart phones. The health stuff is nice, but I suspect after a few weeks once the health data begins to become repetitive most people will simply not bother. The health stuff makes sense in an exercise environment more than anything - it would be great for cycling and running.

The real killer feature i believe will be in using the watch to control the home, or in paying for stuff at the shop. Basically using the watch as an identifier, in combination with all the other little things it can do, like health, music, etc.

In saying all of that, smart watches see like a tough sell to me.

Due to an upgrade from March this year already but loving my 5c so holding out for the 6!!

Hi Brick,
I buy them because I have money and like their phones. I also buy lindt chocloate, it may have the same calories and ingredients as cadburys but it just tastes better and therefore I don't really care that it costs more.

Lol and all the iSheep where going on they love how sleek and small the their phones were "I don't want a tablet" they said. Watch, when the new one gets released with a bigger screen they going to go on about it for months... bloody zealots
