I must say it is a real great competitor for the Galaxy S4. Well done Apple.

In the meanwhile, who sales the most ? :whistling:

Apple Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone 5s is outselling the Galaxy S5 from Samsung Electronic Co. (KRX:005930) globally, even though the Android handset is newer by seven months. According to a report released Tuesday from Counterpoint Research, Apple moved 7 million iPhones 5s smartphones in May compared with Samsung's 5 million Galaxy S5 smartphones in the same month.

I've gotten my S3 stolen, and am now using an iPhone 4 until I upgrade December. If the iPhone 6 is anything like this, I want nothing to do with it. I'm not taking about display quality, etc. Stupid stuff like sharing media on an Android is just a matter of long-pressing and Share Via, oh no not iPhone. And if it puts every single photo into one gallery called Camera Roll, it's also a no go for me.

Yeah. That's just one of the many irritations I have with it.

Talking about 416ppi. Nothing wrong with that.

Hey - oh that article you posted says 960x1704 @ 4.7" which would be 416 that's fine. I've been seeing different rumours. Still no indications anywhere about the 5.5" resolution though; or anything at all to do with that model. No leaks anywhere in fact. Just they keep hammering on that there will be one.

Actually the single irritation for me now is the screen size of the iPhone. I've done a total 180 on screen sizes over the last couple of months. Well mainly since the G2's screen turned out to be so good for reading on.

and don't forget that you can even use the memory of the phone like a USB drive. that is something really stupid and annoying.
I love the quality build of the iphones but geez, you cant do anything "normal" with the phone

The flipside of that is that iOS is much better at file management than Android. Being able to use the phone memory as a USB is convenient at times but I find it ends up with orphaned files far too often and it doesn't really know how to sync content on and off properly.

That's exactly how my G2 manages pictures. How else do you do it?

On my S3 each app created it's own album in the gallery, on the iPhone, even the WhatsApp received images and downloaded Facebook images all automatically goes into Camera Roll.

Oh yeah I see what you mean. But do you prefer having a dozen individual folders of images to navigate through every time you want to find 1 picture? I just spent some time deleting images off MrsC's iPhone to clean up space as she's a compulsive pic-taker, and even with just 1 folder it's a fricking nightmare. Well.. I guess you would prefer it if you groused about it here.

*However, Google's auto-backup of images is much nicer than iOS's. On iOS I use Flickr to backup photos online.

Yes I do. I want the photos I took with the camera in it's own folder, not mixed with all other applications' photos and images.

Strange, but I'm not seeing those in my camera roll.
