Lol. I turned it upside down, definitely not in there :D

But the good news is that I just had a live chat with Apple, and the phone was indeed brand new and shows as being bought and warranty registered today. She said the sim was likely left over from manufacturing.

I'm sure they would say that. Have you checked for d1ck pics yet? :D

Is the pin not in the little folder thingus with the stickers and stuff? I discovered it there, 2 weeks after getting the phone and cursing Apple for being cheapskates.....

For some strange reason US network handsets don't come with the sim tool, iirc they never have.

That's a strange explanation, there is no reason for the phone to be tested with an AT&T sim in China (especially if it isn't AT&T stock).

As a matter of interest what's the actual model number on the back?

I bought a 6 from the same store previously and it had a normal 2 pin plug and a pin in the box. This 6s has a US plug and no pin, so I guess that explains it then.

It sounds like your supplier somehow got a consignment of US phones.

I edited with another question, which model have you got? A1633 or A1688?

I see it now. A1633. Just reading up on it now and I see AT&T mentioned.

It's also got the TMSC chip.

You also get one extra LTE band over the world phone so you haven't lost anything, the AT&T model gets band 30 support for AT&T's new allocation.

Nice. So the AT&T sim looks to be consistent with the explanation.

It's all good.

It's not like the older models where every part of the world (and every US network) seemed to have a different model. If it wasn't for band 30 AT&T would have ended up with A1688 as well, imo.

As a matter of interest, does your supermarket have any links to any of the big US chains? It would explain why they might have got a consignment from the USA.

I'm not sure. I see from the web that they have 118 stores across the middle east so they are a big player. Decent prices too. I just paid equivalent R11,800 for the 64gb 6s.

I am new to apple.

By the battery option, is Usage similar to the on screen time in android?

What happened to my swiftkey?

I have been using swiftkey since I got the iPhone 6s as I find the Apple keyboard counterintuitive.

All of a sudden the Apple keyboard back and the 'globe' icon to change the keyboard is gone. Any ideas?

Probably an update to Swiftkey. Go to keyboard settings, select Swiftkey and enable 'allow full access'.

I dunno bro; Notification Centre reply & the pull down reply while you are using your phone works perfect on my 5 running 9.1. The vrou has a 5c running iOS 9.1 & works perfect; both of course are non-JB phones.

Dumb question but are you sure you are running 9.1; latest WhatsApp & gave your phone a reboot just in case?
