Notice the x changes after being clicked on but that's about it. Noticed this elsewhere as well, can't remember where.

It's because you're browsing in private mode.

As mentioned above with the Toyota site, ensure that you aren't in private mode. Also try disabling any adblockers, if you're using one, to confirm if it isn't causing a problem.

Not in Private mode, not having any issues.

Ad blocker for Safari? The built in one is good, and any ads that do get through are tastefully placed.

Yeah but in brawlers images it looks like he is. Tested in private myself and the Toyota site doesn't work as he states when in this mode.

Now that the above Private Browsing mode matter is sorted I need your guys help to see if my math(s) is up to scratch.

My MTN upgrade is due next week (1/1/2016) I joke not. I'm currently using a 64gb iPhone 5 & it's been excellent; I can't complain about anything other than a bigger screen size would be handy.

I *dont* have to have the very latest Apple iPhone every year or so clearly if I am content with my trusty iPhone 5.

I also like to keep my monthly expenses as low as I can to have more disposal income around.

So just check if my math(s) is correct; contract is the MTNChoice 100.

iPhone 6s 64gb for R559 x 24 months.
Total Costs: R13416

OR

iPhone 6s 64gb for R399 x 36 months.
Total Costs: R14344

Total Difference between premiums: R559pm - R399pm x 12 months = R1920

Total Difference between outright contract price: R14344 - R13416 = R928 then % 12 months = R77. So I will be paying R77pm "more" for extra 100mins; 200 SMS's & 500mb data for 12 months & of course have no upgrade option at close to 24 months.

Moving from an iPhone 5 to 6s will mean I will already "jump" 3 generations (3 years).

I went for the 36 month option bud, it helped keep down my monthly budget, and ended up with more Minutes as you discovered.

Or keep the iPhone 5 another year and go on Prepaid?

Put the money away and buy an iPhone 7 cash when it lands in December.

Can work but my mind is "set" to get that 6s once Jan hits lol

At least 36 month option monthly costs are lowered down

What is going to happen when the 7 comes out, or the 7S? If you are itchy now after 2 years you are going to be in a lot of pain after 36 months.

Convert to prepaid, and buy a phone from someone in the classifieds here. A phone that's local stock, sealed in box, etc. You will knock a couple of k off the price, which will be easier to pay off and easier to sell when you want to upgrade - without being locked into some long term contract.

I quite like the look of the battery case. I struggle with the 6s battery life, like the other day I went into town and came back at 11, the phone was dead by 5 so I was out of contact with the family. The 6+ would have easily kept going till I got home. All in all I prefer the larger iPhone model but I can't complain about the 6s overall. The colours on photos are remarkably accurate.

Exactly why I went for the 6S Plus, on a heavy use, no powering up, long day without using as a hotspot i get to 45%, with hotspot 20%.. and while i do plugin whenever i can i rarely see it below 70% as the iPhone 5S made me get use to pluggin in whenever i can. These days i just make sure to plugin at night and maybe midday(I drive with GPS + stream/play loaded audo podcasts etc). I must say until the smaller one can do the same i'm not going back.

Yea but I got mine brand new for R7500, 64gb, which I sold the 6+ for.. so it was basically free. However I keep eyes open for a deal on the 6s+ and if something comes up I'll switch in a minute. Only thing I didn't like about the larger size phone is using it in the gym or while running, it's hard to get it to not be uncomfortable on the body, whereas the 6s goes into a pouch on my waist and I just forget about it.

I have a question.

My current contract on Vodacom Smart S (iPhone 5S) is up and I wanna move to an iPhone 6S Plus. I want to pay a lower monthly overall amount, is it possible to pay-in part of the device cost to reduce the monthly cost?

Get Bluetooth headphones, then you can put your iPhone down while you workout :)

Even if owned the regular iPhone, I'd use them. No annoying cables that snag on things and pull out of your ears.

Got a pair of Jaybirds and never looked back.
