iPhone 6s

I see 9.3 b6 has just dropped.

Holy Moly! My 6s is flying now!

Wow... why can't these animations be disabled in low power mode? feels super quick.

Works a treat doesn't it?!!

This is why Speed intensifier is such a firm favourite among jailbreakers.

For those of you that like nested folders...

On a slightly unrelated note - selling my 5S, so removed the screen protector... WOW! It's like I'm looking at a new phone!

So just a comment about replacing those a bit more regularly - you don't really notice how badly faded it becomes, until you see the naked screen underneath again!

Still the best iPhone. :D

Did the same with my 64GB the other day... Finding it hard to let go of.

I got my daughter and the wife one each on that Cellular city promo. R199 includes a cpo 5s 16gb and Uflexi 200 so R200 worth of airtime per month. The best part is both phones shipped with 9.0.2 so jail broken. Played nicely on them before handing them over.

You love your JB's hey...

I take it 16gb is enough/workable for both?

Many have said CPO is as good as "new" as well.

Love JB's too much.

Yeah, they not heavy users at all. Both got Dropbox accounts so camera rolls get backed up to pc and pics & videos get deleted off the phones. Daughters into her gaming but only a handful of games on the phone. The majority on her iPad. Wife's the same.

CPO's looked new to me. Sealed box, wrapping on the charger, wrapped cable, headphones. Even the phone had the protective plastic cover they normally ship with. There's no ways you would tell cpo and brand new apart, no ways.

Was a very good special. I even considered getting a 3rd one for myself. The idea is to sell the 6, use the 6s as default and 5s as back up. I'm a bit disappointed I didn't.

On a side note if like me you feel the animations baked into iOS just get in the way, here's an easy way to fix that.

Is this any different from switching reduced motion to on?
And how to I get my animations back now?

For those that have still not gotten it to work... Start off with the assistive touch button in the right hand lower corner of the screen. Every time you slide down in spotlight search make sure you wait for the assistive touch button to move on top of the keyboard and continuously repeat steps 3 and 4.

My iphone now feels so sluggish with the animations restored, adding this extra fluff seems so unnecessary. More feature creep that makes me miss the simpler iOS 6 days.

Looking to get my wife a 6s 64gb and am looking at my options.

In Dubai, I can buy one cash for about R11,700.

FNB offer R799 x 24 months = R19,176

I'm due an upgrade on Vodacom and device in Smart S (my current package) is listed as R470 x 24 months R11,280. The total is R679 but I will use the R209 myself so just looking at it in isolation for the phone at R470 a month.

Seems like Vodacom is the best option to me.

Comments?

edit: updated Vodacom costs.

Yip, yip!! Agreed!

This tweak just takes care of the homescreen animations. Speed intensifier takes care of the animations system wide. Makes a huge difference to the overall user experience! It's usually the 2nd or 3rd tweak I install once Jailbroken and the only reason I hold off for that long is so that I can be reminded how sluggish an animation rich experience feels.
