iPhone and Mxit PLEASE HELP!

Hi I have an iPhone (the first one ever brought out) that was from the US, it was jailbroken to be used in South Africa etc....

The iTunes on it does not work cause of the whole overseas thing.

I really want to install Mxit and a Facebook app on the darn thing but I can't figure Cydia out and I am really frustrated as I am chomping all my phone bundle up for nothing.

Please help!? Any way of installing these apps without using iTunes ~ please can you give me detailed instructions on how to do it?! Would be greatly appreciated!

Erm.... can you not see the app store on your home screen? You dont need iTunes to download apps, you just need an itunes store acount(Which can be created on your iPhone when pushing the App Store App) And the fact that iTunes doesnt work on it because it is a grey import is very strange. Doesnt matter where the thing is from, itunes would detect it. Im thinking maybe this is a clone
