Iphone Calendar : Change in Format

I have notice that all my calender entries has changed to the following format. See screendump attached.

66845DC6-3ABC-XXXX under calender options.

Interesting enough, all birthday entries reflects as Name_Surname format.

1. Any particular reason this is reflected as such.
2. Is there a option to change all 66845DC6 to Name_Surname format.
3. Is there Pros or Cons on doing this.

Looks like you're using Yahoo? Perhaps it's something they changed, not apple.
