Iphone MMS setting

Ok, so my phone was sending MMS pics just fine.... until Sunday when I got a message saying update carrier settings.... I did... no no MMS .. keep getting that horrid Message Failure pop-up.

can someone please post there working MMS setting here so I can compare them with mine.

That is very strange you got a carrier settings sent to you and you didn't request them. Don't accept carrier settings you didn't request. Could be someone wanting your traffic going through their proxy for snooping. If I was you I would reset the settings back to default like this:
settings->general->reset->reset network settings

That should put the correct vodacom settings back.

If you don't want to do the reset then here are the settings from my iphone:

apn: mms.vodacom.net
mmsc: http://mmsc.vodacom4me.co.za
mms proxy: 196.6.128.13:8080

Thanks Gambit, did a rested but I think i know what the problem was...

it was the Max message size ... the default on the phone was 307200 (not sure of the unit of measure here)
I changed it to 300 as this seems to be the value that most networks accept..... I tried this cause I find that Android devices cannot receive MMS from me.

Changed back to 307200 and all is fine again .....
