There has been several contract price reductions for the older iPhones lately,must be because the next iphone is near.

At Telkom the 5s is now R349 instead of R399 on SmartPlan 100. If you can live with a old 4s it is now R149 instead of R199 on SmartPlan 50.

At MTN the 5c 16GB on MTNChoice 100 has dropped from R359 to R249 and the 5s 16 GB on the same plan dropped from R 439 to R349.

At Vodacom they now have the Reconditioned 5s 16 GB for R299.

Wonder why both the 4s and 5s are still available as "older" options (because the current one is the 6), but not the 5?

As the 5 was discont. worldwide. The 5C is the cheapie in the US lineup & India still offers the 4C. No markets offer the 5 as it's no longer in production.

That info was given to me at the beginning of the month. So I ordered the 5S and there were two left.

For some reason though, that 5S still hasn't been sent to the couriers... I suspect they sold mine to someone else
