iPhone Stock Fail

Just received a sms from Vodacom stating that they just received new stock and that i should reply to be contacted...well I replied and received another one stating that I'll be contacted by an agent within 48 hours...now it's the waiting game again.

Got the same message, do they really have stock or are they just keeping us on the line, until they can pull us into the boat?

?????

They'll probably only get stock next week, they'll use the public holiday as an excuse to delay until next week.

Was at the Century City iStore now (as suggested by Acydebyte) and they have plenty stock ... but MTN only unfortunately (I want to do a VC upgrade). MTN staff is even helping people to set up their brand new iPhones in the iStore. Well done MTN ... you somehow managed to do what VC could not ... enough stock and no "priority clients" bull*****.

Still pretty shoddy, they couldn't even get pricing or launch dates out before the actual launch, so why did they launch? If Vodacom can launch without any stock, why didn't they just launch last month, or just wait till they DO have stock?

I also don't believe that story about "Apple not shipping enough" , come on, what crap planning is that? Get the STOCK -then- Launch, how hard can it be? Who decided on the launch date anyway? Apple or Vodacom?
