four lines into the article is all you had to read to find this... when he recently proclaimed Israel should be "wiped off the map." Iran’s nuclear ambitions are well-known.

I watch al jazz daily, their middle east reporting is good - apart from their coverage of Israel that is. Killadoob, from what I know of you I think you'd really enjoy Pess TV. Also, as much as I'm flattered by you calling me a kiddie, I'm old enough to be your mommy.

There is one reference to him saying that. So again, OFTEN REPEATED by who? Him or the media? Never mind. It is one statement that is often repeated in the media. The actual point of this is that people like you, who insist on misrepresenting the facts aren't to be taken seriously.

Oh what rubbish, he never said that. Another lie spread by the right wing media and repeated by the ignorant. What he actually said was; "This regime now occupying Jerusalem will vanish from the pages of history like the sands of time". That is the proper translation from Farsi into English, not the slanderous lie spread by the Western media.

Ahmadinejad is clearly anti-Zionist and possibly even anti-Jew (although he has actually made the distinction between Zionists and Jews) but the fact is he has never made a call for Israel to be wiped off the map. He has made repeated statements along the lines that the Zionist state is in a state of decline which is not quite the same thing.

I never called you one i said you are a prime example of how the media can turn a person into one. I love the press but i don't believe everything i read and see.

The president of iran has denounced nuclear weapons, he actually think nukes are bad and the world would be better off without them. Of course this is turned around and people say he only feels this way because he would not be threatened with them. He is 100% right and i would love to see every country disarm. If you want to fight a war then do so, no need to drop these horrific, disgusting weapons and there is no need to have them.

This is just a story about a country over coming many obstacles to do something rather extraordinary.

I do believe him and i agree with him. If he wanted to destroy israel he would be something like buying nukes or making them, he would not be wasting his time building power plants.

He is painted as a madmen by the western media but against all odds and with the help of Russia managed to actually pull this off. Incredible in my opinion. Even more incredible is only west approved countries can have nuclear power plants :eek:

I am more worried that the US might think nuking a country will be easier than go to war with them again :eek:.
