Experts are saying there are secret nuclear plants that the UN and the inspectors have not even been told about, Iran did not tell them. they were ordered to stop but continue to build them and operate them underground. They are estimating by 2015 Iran could be nuclear - WEAPON not energy.
THE IAEA is just being cautious publicly but they know full well that there are issues that need explaining.

Iran is constantly threatening other nations? Heh, the Americans do that too, except they usually end up acting on their threats! Besides, the Americans aided the overthrow of the democratic Iranian government in the 1950's and imposed the godawful Shah upon them. When he was overthrown by the people (as is happening to other American puppets in the Muslim world today) the West was nothing but antagonistic towards the Iranians for over 30 years. Now Iran's neighbouring countries are occupied by foreign militaries... Not a great leap to wanting to develop a weapon of deterrence, eh?

No i have to agree with mike on this one marine. I could believe the UN if they never said the same thing about iraq. I reckon once you lie to the world you cannot get away with it a second time and trust becomes a major issue.

I know i don't trust them now because of that lie but then i am not biased so when someone lies to me my trust in them disappears, obviously certain people will believe the lies and then try to defend the people who lied to them but it is a fact the US basically lied their way to war with iraq so i would not put it past them to do so again. Seems like accusing nations of having or wanting nukes is the best thing to do to gain support from the people who accept and defend the lies they are told.

It still amazes me that people trust the US after that lie. Makes you wonder what else they have lied about. Iran has never lied about their nuclear goals and have said for many it is for peaceful purposes and until iran show any signs of wanting war i will take their word over the US and their puppets any day. As mentioned the US don't just threaten you, they act and they are the most aggressive nation on the planet.

Not to mention they love supporting terrorists, al queda is only around because the US funded them and gave them weapons.

How many nuclear weapons have ever been detonated in warfare? And who detonated them? Even the Russians, who created the Tsar bomb, didn't drop a nuclear weapon on another country.

So yes, they might be throwing their toys against the US and Israel, but until there is evidence that:
1) They have nuclear weapons
2) They intend to bomb another country,
then there is no reason to act against them just yet. Have you learnt nothing from the Iraq fiasco? I suppose what happened in Iraq was ok because they're an oil-rich Muslim nation, right? And off course if there was no WMDs found, then there's always a way to link them to Jew-hating in order to justify the attack.

If they are found to be in possession of nuclear weapons, then by all means raise your alert levels. It's not like it will be a big secret if/when they start testing their weapons (which they will have to do to be sure that it works).

Nice post, that last comment about testing weapons it the obvious key to this whole thing unless marine and co think you can just pop a bomb together without having to test it. It would be funny if they put a bomb together dropped it on israel and it never worked

I've quoted FARS and PRESS both IRANIAN STATE run media. Apart from that, Iran funds Hizb'allah (army of god) and Hamas, both Islamic terrorist organizations with the stated aim of, not only the total destruction of Israel, but also the death of the world's Jews.
