+1 besides the dictators......which some states have unfortunately.But then again the media can have us believe alot these days so theres alot of grey areas in between.

You don't need a bleeding heart to defend certain things. The trouble is people forget not so long ago the west was not exactly perfect in that regard either, until the people stand up for themselves it won't go away.

Thing is, democracy isn't something that can be implemented externally. Look at all the democracies of today, they had bloody histories and it was a long, hard process to establish free and civil societies. Most importantly, it was the people themselves that instituted it. That's why colonial-enforced "democracy" doesn't work. The country needs to be ready to embrace the concepts of freedom and human rights.
Good point, but this just makes the problem even worse today, because we live in a world where weapons of mass destruction can wipe out millions of people at a time, the western democracies don't want to take the risk of some rogue state developing and using said weapons against them so they try and force democracy on other countries {with little success I might add}.

Yup, also add in that the west only pushes democracy on the anti west countries. They couldn't give a shyte about democracy in saudi arabia, bahrain etc. They use it as an excuse to go to war.
Ekstas basically the US condemning iran or china for their ways won't help, the people need to wake up and force it

While that may be true in Iran they have their own versions of democracy where only a few more prominent intellectuals get to vote,while not perfect it does eliminate tendencies of the masses to vote for some dumb idiot that lets them hear what they want,think along the lines of bush and malema and you realize that our versions of democracy can also fail us.

The world does accept Islamic states. It's some of the Islamic states that don't accept the world and want to blow it up. Some folks don't like their buses, trains and office buildings being blown up and will react to this. Iran is pissed off that some countries, including Turkey, doesnt recognise that Iran has the right to blow other people up. Most of the middle east doesn't like the Iranians either. They don't like the fact that Iran has been trying to affect regime change in many middle east countries for decades.

Ironically, back here on Earth, Muslims in their adopted Western countries vociferously demand that host nations bend over backwards (pun not intended) to cater for their specific bronze age myths.
