IS News Server down?

The newsserver has been mean to me :( I wanted an anouk cd, I forgot she existed! Arrrrgghhhh! :D
 
so anyone willing to place bets on how much 2 people can rape an IS account for international bandwidth? Im currently getting 430kb/s off newshosting.com, 24hours till cap reset ;)
 
I'd say you suck ziglet, it's only my personal opinion, but if you want to lose a working credit card one day, one that will work unlimitedly, send it my way okay? :D ;) :p
 
How the hell did you manage 28mb?
I got a grand total of 235mb in the last 48 hours and just over 15mb since last night!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
15gigs in 12hours from newshosting.com ;) $15 for unlimited usage
 
Weoweo 1gig over night... but not many files got completed jst parts of them.. but at least its pulling somthing :P
 
Any idea when the upgrade of the server will be completed, its been more than 2 weeks already?
 
LOL feel sorry for you guys who still getting **** speeds, mine havent gone below 30k in the last 3 days.
 
can anyone plz help me?

I can connect to news server with web africa international account , but when I try to login with my local WA account it does squat. Newsbin just sits and do squat, but my internation account works like a bomb.
 
IS News Server only works if you on a IS based account. Is your local WA account SAIX or IS based?
 
dual meister... I'm a freaking idiot. I'm accidently bought SAIX, but my other one is IS... DUH!!!... Please kick me thanks!
 
IS upgrade? Really?

No company, especially a company like IS should take over three weeks to upgrade their news servers, even if something went wrong.

I really starting to think we are being bull****ted and they have caught on that we download massive amounts from their news server.

Just my two cents.

PS. IS, I am available to help you "upgrade". I plan my sh*t properly before I do things like that.
 
The problem is not that they have a problem that needs to be fixed.
They just need to tell us what is going on and approximately how long it still will take to fix.
Don't think it's due to too many downloads.
1. I'd rather say they have got more users they can handle.
2. The new 4mb lines puts too much strain on the servers
3. The re-route of the usage that went through the south pacific satelite is too much for the other servers to handle
