First time at News Server

Using Newsbin, at the bottem left corner it shows you the d/l speed.

But why is there 2??

It looks like this: 64.4kbps/8.2KBps (have a 512k line)

use grabit no 1

also download with both news servers using grabit was going at 32 this morning but back down to 9 because its down againnnnnnnnnnnn

Means you downloading at 8kb/s or at line speed 64.4kbps

Newzbin rocks! Just make sure you have both servers setup to 4 connections each...

had a major storm in Jhb last night. Tried to extract d/l files with winrar. The size of all the files seem fine (15000kb) but winrar says nothing to extract. Could this be a news server problem??

Could be - but are you sure they're rar files? There are other methods people use to split files.
