I did restart it, but nothing helps.....I did install and uninstall newsleecher and made some changes in my hosts file. Could that be a problem?

It was a NZB that I downloaded from NZBmatrix.com, and it wasnt listed on newshost.

And it would seem as if it is going faster as I type this, going faster and faster in little increments....

This must be the planned upgrade for the news servers aswell right?

What is the current speed on cached content?

After reading an article on the repair on the undersea cables after the recent earthquakes it mentioned that traffic is placed on higher priority for businesses which can explain for low speeds as of late.

What you all think?

IS International is going via satelite, only SAIX has the cable running.

Still doesnt explain the slow international speeds if the stuff is not cached.

Uncached here is going at 20kb/s, not sure about the cached stuff on newshost.za.net

Server working fine by me. getting between 18-24kb/s on uncached content once again
