So don't click on it, right-click and copy the actual link data.

Or simply open the link and copy it out.

It's not the link that is the problem, it's what you do on the link that you worry about.

Also the payments profile at the bottom is easy enough to verify if it is your own. Google does send this kind of stuff out when it relates to billing so there is a chance it's legitimate.

Log in to your account on payments.google.com

Click your name top left and it will show your Profile ID.

If that matches the email it’s legit…ignoring the fact you posted it on the internet and going forward this wouldn’t be a reliable correlation but for the existing one it’s fine.

One question though, would you send that info to Google? ID, home address etc. Why would they need that?

Tks, will go directly to that page and check details. Still can't think why they'd want to verify. The only thing I've bought are a few games from Google Play.

It’s probably just KYC stuff.

Once you start spending money they need more details from you.

Likely related to age etc.
