Iran , a Shia country is supporting a Sunni organisation that hates them and is at war with them to help prop up Shia governments in Syria and Iraq. Makes sense, in no way whatsoever.

because he is friends with the Saudi Arabian government, he will rather find it more convenient for Iran to support ISIS than the Saudi government

The debate on the lives cost vs the lives saved by the use of the 2 nuclear devices dropped on Japan will rage on forever, but I tend to side with the lives saved. I also do not think that it constitutes a terrorist attack as the 2 countries were formally at war with one another. If you asked a Japanese civilian if they were at war with the US, they would have said yes, if you asked a US civilian the same question it would be the same. Could the same be said in regards to civilians in most of the countries that have a proclivity of Islamic extremism?
