Tried downloading torrents after 12:00 am yesterday and lo and behold I could actually get normal download speeds.

This is standard, has been for months.

Have not tried net gaming and skype but it stands to reason that if I also want to do those effectively, I will need to it after 12:00 am....

But how often does Telkom Internet Throttle? Been with them for a few years now, and I never got throttled? As a matter a fact, gaming traffic seems to be prioritized.

I'm not sure, I have a Telkom Internet soft cap account.

But some of the TI uncapped throttle figures I've seen on this forum are shocking...
