ITNT Capped DSL Feedback

I think they must've had a set number of gigs they were going to subsidise as part of this promotion. Clearly they severely under-estimated the demand, and thought it would last till Dec 31, and when they reached it in a few days, cut right back over to normal pricing before they started making a huge loss.

Well that ended sooner than I thought it would. Oh well, back to paying R2 a gig.

Telkom really need to drop the price of IPC quite substantially for us to get under R2 a gig.

I see another "The truth about ..." thread starting soon :)

Hopefully there will be a follow-up article to explain this.

LOL! Game changing marketing tactics is all that they are.

Seems their site is down.

Network Error (tcp_error)
A communication error occurred: "Connection refused"
The Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. You may wish to try again at a later time.

Worst type of company. Silly marketing trickery to sucker people into signing with them. Then they simply join the rest and operate as per usual.

Well honestly, it was a silly marketing ploy. I would guess 99% of the people who took up the special pricing were MyBB users. Given the nature of the promotional accounts, all of the data they bought expires in a week's time, so they will no longer be customers. They're also going to be the most annoyed by the fact that the promotion has already ended, and the most informed as to their alternatives, which means they'll know the regular ITNT capped pricing is on the expensive side, and spend their money elsewhere.

Overall a big loss for them, I'd say.

Been looking at their Facebook page again... everywhere it says "As Low As" R1.
The it mensions the R10 for 10GB. I think someone effed up, I think only the 10GB was suppose to be R1 per GB and the rest more.
