Just signed up with the 10GB package. Local looks good, but did a speed test to Maidenhead UK. Ping 186ms and DL 4Mbps on my 10Mbps line. Switched back to Vox and ping to same servers are 165ms and 8.8Mbps. Not impressed.
Overseas latency is unfortunately the one area where you can't always get away with cheap data.Just signed up with the 10GB package. Local looks good, but did a speed test to Maidenhead UK. The latency isn't that bad, but half the download speed?Overseas latency is unfortunately the one area where you can't always get away with cheap data.
Will depend on how the ISP route their trafficThe latency isn't that bad, but half the download speed?
My international speeds are very respectable.

Pretty much the same on my Vox account.
Not for a 40Mbps adsl line though....
I want to confirm what you said. Their TopUp option seems flawed unless they are intentionally limiting it to 200GB per customer per line?
You can go to a max of 200GB data and you can't just buy another account because it seems that its locked to 1 line. Trying to buy another account with the same number also fails.
So the catch is revealed

I had a 25GB account which I topped up to the 200GB account but only allowed to get 175GB [25GB initally and the 175GB topup]. Now when I click on the topup option there is no option to topup just you current package is 200GB with no other options.
This is a single threaded test with testmy.net, not going to see much better than that no matter how fast your line is.
Regarding the top-ups I also saw that, was confused as hell trying to figure out what was going on there. Their system is very non-intuitive, you select a bigger package and then it minuses your currently used data off that.
Yeah I think special is like the Sparletta 2l selling at Checkers. Only 6 per customer. I think ITNT is doing the same here. I actually expected it because 1TB data would cost only R1000 which is just too cheap to be true.
Here is what my topup section looks like now.
