ITNT Capped DSL Feedback

just signed up and I noticed their pricing changed.

The catch is revealed. What a turn around in a matter of hours.

Okay...then why didn't they say "First 5 000 gigs only?".

Overpromise & under-deliver will not end well for the ISP.

So I called them and they said that it was limited to a number of signups. Wonder why no transparency from the beginning??

Those who signed up on the monthly deal will get the same rate till dec 31. Still find this hard to believe since there is a possibility of getting charged their normal rates from next month. This might be the catch but will have to wait and see.

Guess I will not use them after this stunt, won't recommend them to anyone either.

What is false about it? 10GB @ R1 per GB.

Was fun while it lasted, I hope for their sake that their higher packages will drop in price as quickly as the prices went up. R1k for 200GB is insane!

They advertised the R1 per GB on all the accounts and said it would be that way till end of December. They also said they believe in this model and that if more people hopped on it would stay the same...next day it all gets changed. If they could not handle it then they should not have advertised it like that and should have shown the now current model from the start.

Does payment automatically renew each month? If so, then there will be lots of angry people if the price changes.

There's an article on MyBB for those interested, with feedback from them.

Bait and switch ... oldest trick in the book.

25gb for R25 crew checking in.

Afrihost ran an amazing campaign 5 years ago when they dropped pricing per GB to R29.A real lesson in how to capture market share.Fast forward to today and we see how to do the exact opposite.

Its almost like they don't read mybb. I mean...seriously...ISPs get ripped to shreds for minor technicalities here. Pulling a stunt like this...well...no

I think in this case it's not really of much consequence, I don't think anyone on MyBB knew about this ISP before the R1 special. They got some publicity now and a few more clients and the rest of MyBB will carry on and after a few weeks everyone will have forgotten about this.

Maybe they had 25 Gigabytes to dash out as a promotion until Dec 2014. LOL but then it all got sucked dry by 1 or 19 tech savvy mybb members. Poooof goes the weazel ISP.
