Hope it really is better. Just checked for updates on OSX Mountain Lion and it is there, busy downloading it. Looks like the www.apple.com/itunes page still needs to be updated.

The iphone/ipad/ipod stuff seems a little more old people friendly. The previous style which basically made it look like a playlist/category item was tough for them to understand. Making it a large button on the top right will be better for them.

It is much more friendly but I'm so used to the sidebar after all these years, so I'm really glad I still have the option to enable it.

Still there in the "Songs" tab. I like the "Play Next", "Add To Up Next", "Genius Recommendations" as well as the "Songs In The Store" options. The new store layout is better, like the coverflow header.

EDIT: Best part of the update is it didn't kill the Terminal script that replaces the dock icon with album art for the track that's playing.

According to the guys on the Macrumors forums, the resizing of the albums and the dark background is gone.

I hate the white background.
