Well....

Do you think any human (or group of humans) has the right to tell another human (or group of humans) how to live their life? As soon as you start making rules for other people to follow you create oppression.

Anything this forum (or any other forum \ party - ANC, DA, IFP, SACP, COSATU or ACDP) thinks should be totally irrelevant in how you live your life, unfortunately, politicians (synonym: f*ckheads) think they know "best".

That's why the whole concept of "majority rule" or even democracy ("the common people rule") is inherently flawed. You're still being told how to live by someone who may not give a flying fig about you.
So which system do you prefer?

Just remember Zuma has many scores to settle. If he becomes leader of this country we are in for a rough ride. He is a zulu and yes he believes in the Zulu culture. While i do not actually have a problem with the Zulu culture i think we need to understand the Zulu mindset. He has scores and he will be settling them. Mark my words. (i hope i am wrong but i doubt it.) Things in Africa have a way of turning out for the bad.

I speak to a lot of Zulu's in the SAPS and they wanna go and fight. They are absolutely convinced that Zuma is innocent of everything and that Thabo and his crew are out to destroy the Zulu's.

my problem with that is not the accused/vicitms/etc ... its the judicial system.

I mean so many things came to mind. Issues influencing the verdict.

0) Judge did believe the innocence.
1) Judge was instructed to present a specific verdict
2) Judge was afraid for his life and that of his family
3) Judge/government was afraid of the political/viloent actions that would have occured if found guilty.
4) If JS is found not guilty here and sheik's appeal goes well, then JZ's corruption trial will be abandoned and case dismissed.

I'm just thinking that this case was 0.5% about the rape and 99.5% about politics and stability (or lack thereof)

Where were you "mortals" and your "caring for the people" when you had much more than a cyber forum to make a difference in the days of naked inequality?
Well my parents were voting for the PFP. So dont for one minute think we supported the NP. Jeeeez i tell you some people. You say i am filled with hate ? What about you ?

We live in a manipulated society and i dont believe that the judge could not have believed one of the prosecutions witnesses as he said in the judgement. I think there were bigger forces at play. Maybe LG has been rubbing off on me but i see what the anc are capable of on grass roots level and i can just imagine what goes on at that level behind closed doors.

Well in all of history you had kings and leaders controlling the subjects by laws and the other. Telling PPl what to do and how to live is not the problem. Exploitation and denying the basic human rights to make a person able to live is oppression! You cannot have everybody a leader or manager, their have to be followers as long as it is by choice with no exclusions based on race, colour or the other like gender! Freedom of choice within in the human rights laws as determined by society!

Since true "Democracy" and "human rights" became enforced in the last many years this world is spiraling in a mess. No more discipline as it is against human right etc etc etc. That's why the youth is so delinquent today on majority!

Bingo. You've hit the nail spot on. We can take it further though, how well can a leadership govern when there is/are group(s) they inherently despise? Can they govern fairly? Democracy is inherently flawed and does not work. There are no real successful true democracies anywhere in the world. The US democratic system is a farce. Go and look at how their leaders are actually elected... And besides, if there is floor crossing, then democracy ends there.

The judge didn't have much to do with this verdict IMO.

-The trial started from the point of neutrality (which is the only sane position)
-Accuser has to provide evidence of crime
-Judge delivers verdict

This trial didn't ever really get past the second point.

Keep going at it Angelo. I am not of your politics, but you have been bumping heads here with some of the most right-wing people and opinions I have ever come across. There are others who ain't quite so extreme who are interested to hear your views.
