Seems pienaar is going to chelsea.

Also sulley muntari is available if anyone wants him. He has requested a transfer and the club has accepted, spurs and sunderland seems to be the favorite.

Liverpool - Everton manager David Moyes has confirmed the club has accepted an offer from Chelsea for unsettled South African international forward Steven Pienaar.

Speaking after Everton's 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield, Moyes said the club had granted permission for Pienaar's representatives to enter into talks with Chelsea, but had rebuffed a bid from Tottenham.

"We have accepted an offer from Chelsea. Steven has not agreed terms with Chelsea," Moyes said. "We've given his representatives a chance to talk to Chelsea, but they've not got permission to talk to Tottenham because they've not offered the same money."

The likely departure of Pienaar is a blow to Everton, but with the player out of contract at the end of the season, the Toffees had little choice but to cash in during the January window.

British press reported on Saturday that Pienaar was holding out for a move to Tottenham, with Spurs his preferred destination.

Why not just stay at a club where you actually get to play every week?

Because everton won't win anything ever...When a big club comes knocking you take that chance.
 
I have a feeling that if he does go Chelsea, he will play quite a bit.

We have a weakness on the right going forward, Anelka and Kalou are better central, so we might go Malouda Drogba Pienaar.

Could be interesting.

+1. Chelsea are rather short on wide players atm. He'd probably get more game time at Chelsea than he would at Spurs imo.
 
Bent will join Aston Villa, they need a striker but I don't know why he'd leave Sunderland.
Anyway that's a good deal, he's been in the top 5 goal scorers for a couple of seasons now.
