Joke values on my car

passed my DL on a tazz, fantastic little car,
true about the fuel consumption, they drink fuel as they old tech, and yes they a hijack/stolen risk;

I mean we had a sentra and that got forcibly redistributed; and there was the citi golf; also big risk car;
seems I either should try chinese, or I should go korean for my next car;

anybody here drive chinese like a GWN c10? looks very funky with that grill.... but how they hold up?

I always thought of these chinese cars, like the old corrolas that still alive after 30 years on the road;
simply unknown how they fare, but as they copied from more mainstream cars, should be good;

Chinese?????????!!

Oh FFS - just shoot me now!

:rolleyes:

You keep loving making bad decisions ne?

Just get a normal unmodded car! When you trade that Chinese car in you will have to PAY them money to take it, talk about bad trade in value. My mom traded in her Polo Vivo, got a decent price for it (not great but decent) AND it was sold off the dealers floor within the week (tough luck Roux).

What's your budget?

As for Chinese, you do know they have a product called a GONOW?
Yup... drive it and you're sure to see a piston GONOW through the bonnet

wonder why they called it gonow, or is it the chinese like to laugh secretly at westerners trying to drive chinese cars....

at least they didnt call it go away!

hey maybe a datsun go!!!! besides the handbrake thats like a bakkies, Id be maybe happy with it;

budget for me around 40-60K, up to 80K for something pretty decent if I find a nice deal

I'm sure you can find a decent Ford Figo or Polo Vivo for that price...

ever had to sell one of those? did you offer the guy who brought it a lollypop and a kit kat?

but on a serious note, when the first toyotas came out, didnt people say the same thing about them?
I mean have you seen what some of the old toyotas used to look like?

Datsun GO, just don't ask it to stop... and its the VERY WORST place to be in an accident.

Actually, I was very much alive and interested in cars when the first Toyotas arrived, and we had more respect for them than any Chinese piece of cr@p.

As for trading Chinese in? We don't - we walk away from the deal.

definetly not a polo, even though there EVERYWHERE;

figo, worried about the boot release being on the dashboard, seems like 1 smash will open it; but hear they good cars;
solid mechanicals; but then again isnt it like the bantam? and my dad can tell you plenty of stories about that;

alternator fell off, engine blew, and they tried to tell him 20 dffrent stories before replacing the engine under warranty;
did get a nice rental then tiida 1,6 that was really good; what about those?

Well, that just proves that you are still making bad decisions.

There is nothing wrong with a Polo, and something wrong with almost every other decision you make.

As for a Tiida - really, are you kidding me? You have an uncanny knack of choosing every lemon on the block!

polo I dont like, although if I find a good one, might go for it;
but worried about hijack with that, 4 friends of mine that had polos had them stolen; and they a magnet for thieves;

one even stolen from the work parking lot;

We don't trade cars that we cannot sell.

With a Chinese vehicle... your best bet is to take it to the scrap metal dealer.... they will give you something for it...

I don't think I even know four people who've had cars hijacked, let alone all the same model.
