Best known for playing Percy Fitzpatrick in the 1986 film Jock Of The Bushveld, Rands passed away on Friday 29 April, reports Eyewitness News.

The former presenter of SABC wildlife show 50/50 succumbed to complications from heart surgery, his friend John Clarke said.

His work on television included numerous series such as Westgate, 1922 and more recently Ella Blue on M-Net, as well as presenting 50/50 for 21 years. His radio work included household favourites such as Squad Cars and The Mind of Tracey Dark!.

My post was in jest, and by the reply it seems it was taken as such.
Go read his post again and you will see how it could be understood in two ways.

Was he in the bin laden raid? Otherwise his death isn't important.
