Julius Malema, unlikely hero?

It is with this government. Parastatals do not work in South Africa, the ANC has proved that time and time again over the last 15 years. How can you not see this?

it's futile to approach things from the position that they cannot or will never be fixed...they will

Give us some hope, Mention one, ANYONE African country or government that was a success with your dreamcast of a world. Anyone! It's all in vain. They have you brainwashed! empty...nothing left!

What systems, the ANC and ANCYL and Malema and ALL the rest of AFRICA systems? Up to now nothing as yet "WORKED" so what corrupt "system"would be put in place.

So corrupt, that's we're about to host a successful world cup...your attitude will get you no where i am afraid...but the majority of us are ready for good things...things are improving, will keep getting better all the time...some might be a bit impatient like yourself it appears :)

You have yet to explain how all this is to take place. How are 50% of mines going to obtained by the government? How is this going to any different from every single other failed parastatal?

No I'm sorry buddy but sheer belief isn't going to fix anything - especially is greedy powermongers like Malema are involved. This government has proven time and time again how they allow things to break. Perhaps we should focus on what needs fixing before embarking on more industrious plans. When SAA, SABC, Telkom, Eskom, Transnet and Sentech are all running like well-tuned engines then you'll have my support. Until this country can prove it is capable of running the mines I will oppose you at every step.

i think you all are getting ahead of yourselves and a bit emotional.
firstly, there is no proof or even an investigation that he has stolen
anything, but this has nothing to do w/ the issue of nationalisation,
and we are not zimbabwe. there are millions in SA who think we
should benefit as the masses...you have not addressed that.

You do know that when the idiot started to spout this rubbish share prices fell because everyone was scared they where going to loose all there money. This hurt our economy as mining makes up a huge chunk of it. And that in turn hurts the rest of us "ordinary" people. Nationalization of mines is an idiotic idea. And just because Malema hasn't been investigated does not meanthat he is not a lyre and a thief. There is proof that he is those things mate.

Pleas we are all not Malema's, I mean Idiots.

Only if we get rid of the rot like Malema and Zuma. There are good men in the ANC, but they are few and far between.

EDIT: the World Cup is 1 month, these parastatals have been allowed to fall apart over the last 16 years.

Only because FIFA are watching you like hawks and will pull the plug on you and your chommies in the blink of an eye.

Successfull WC (WORLD CUP) or WC (Wide Corruption)?

Yep! Impatience as is in a bad thing. We have to get used the AFRICA TIME SCALES where everything evolve over centuries as opposed to decades in other first worlds.

You forgot

The SAPS, ARMY, HOSPITALS, EDUCATION .... etc, (to many to list)...... All Fsucked up and now all needs a rehash and some patience to be fixed over the next few centuries!

I can only cry for this county if I read the nonsense jimmyj beliefs, and the problem is that there is millions like him in SA.

insult ignored *koff* but that's my point...the media is obviously attempting to discredit him and are failing dismally, what more can they do to fulfill this effort? it appears they are failing because the youth remain convinvinced that the wealth from our mines could be used more progressively towards their cause :)

The media don't have to discredit him. He is doing it all by himself.

not all that they are saying is totally accurate...there is definitely an agenda. don't u think the media is paid or supported by debeers, etc., or sections of it?

I hope the revenue service comes down hard on his cheating ass. He has stolen from millions and he deserves his due.

Once again jimmyj you seem to be convinced that a few of Malema's cronies supporting him constitute "the youth". They are not and Julius will find himself very alone one day.

The wealth from the mines will be stolen and the people of this country will be cheated. Mines will close, people will lose jobs and we will be worse off than before. Nationalisation of mines has never ever worked and it never will. Please try and understand this.

If they are then Julius has created these enemies himself. He is playing with the big boys now and mustn't go cry foul to daddy Zuma when they play rough.

However, I doubt that is the case, the media to date in this country have been very professional. I'm afraid where there is smoke there is fire and Julius will find a lot of trouble coming his way, trouble of his own making.

The not-so-young Juli-ass brought it on himself. He has made enemies across the political divide, including within the ANC.

So, no, I don't think so.

i'm glad u admitted...i c the media and the mine owners in cohoots...they are aware that the tide of the people is being turned against them.
nicky oppenhiemer also knows...it will be hard to change the ppl's minds...i'm afraid attacking julius is not enough...he is also not afraid of the boys.
