Actually the media are not failing dismally. It's just unfortunate that Malema is able to hood wink people into believing that Nationalizing mines will be to there benefit despite all proof to the contrary. He is able to do this because most people in SA have no clue how an economy is structured and how it behaves. If you mess with it, it can collapse and if you need proof you only have to look across our northern border. Economies can be F'ed up in an hour but take many years to restore.

Let's be honest, with his qualifications how is it possible for him to have amassed the wealth he so obviously has .

i spoke to first year ecos students who shared their perspective with me, and they disagree with you predominantly. only a very few think
that 50% of the mines cannot help alleviate poverty and uplift poor communities. they also ask where the journalists are who represent
their views...being surprised that such a 1-sided perspective is being shared, as if the other does not exist.

One thing is for sure. You know Fall about economics and have a brainwashed communist view of how it "could"/"should" work. Who is going to "hand out" the profits? Go back to school and learn some more......... or at least ask/claim your money back "IF" you payed for it!

If the youth is behind him, then the education is failing on a bigger scale than I feared. Uneducated youth and young voters will vote for the person that makes the biggest promises and who appears to be on their side. For how long have this ANC government been promising them houses and free washing machines? How many of these people are still living in shacks while the leaders that promised them a better life and shelter are living now in luxury homes and terrorising the tax payers on the road with their flashing blue lights because he overslept from his late night of taking showers trying to get the germs off himself?

No no, meneer Malema is no different from the current blood sucking officials that will drain this country for all its worth.

You don't think Malema could have come up with such a complicated idea as nationalizing mines on his own, do you? No wonder the country is getting F'ed up, seems politicians are getting advice from 1st year students now.:D

your accusations of communism reminds me of the old national party.

i just think that the profit of the mines should be shared with the poor

this money can go a long way, and the mine-owners have proven they

are more into enriching themselves
