Innocent until guilty, yes, but do you have any any how rife tender rigging and excessive add-ons to tenders are? I wouldn't in the least be surprised if for every R3 spent on tenders, only R2 actually ends up with the firm that does the work. The R1 goes to the tender winner, who is typically a facilitator (read connected BEE company with no skills in the underlying tender objective). That's morally corrupt, and effectively a theft of SA resources.
 
I can't remember when was the last time I had such a good laugh. jimmyj has provided me with the best comic relief for a long, long time. The only sad thing about him is the level of naivety in his views.

One would hope that his intellect will develop with time and allow him to change from a blind optimist to a mature realist. Good luck jimmyj we're all rooting for you in this epic life journey thats lies ahead. It might be a good idea to concentrate your posting on forums with a similar developmental level in order to reduce the mental strain of this process. One could probable recommend the ANCYL support forums and such like.

The mine owners and investors deserve the enriching, Zuma, Malema and the rest do not deserve their enriching as they steal it away from the poor (Channeling).

Yeah, as we all asked YOU to explain or inform us how the "model" for sharing of of the profits to the poor is going to work. Do YOU even think that's to be achieved? Are you sure the "profits" will get to the poor? if so Where are all the tax proceeds for the last 14 Years, supposed to help the poor, Has it gone to the poor? How are the poor going to "earn" those shared profits from the mines? Waiting like beggars at home for the profits to arrive for which they did Fckall to earn? Wake up to reality or claim your school education fees back as I proposed!

From what you posted I am 100% sure YOU will be in the front of the RECEIVING queue!

It opens it's mouth and says nothing. Please Mr Expert explain why there has been no successful communist country, since the creed was created? And then tell is how come the ANC is going to be the one's to buck this trend ?

The profits of the mines are supposed to shared with the poor - I believe it's called tax.
Whether the ANC actually passes it on to the poor instead of spending 1/4 million on a watch for baby J is of course where it all falls apart.

As far as the old national party, are you actually old enough to remember them ?

Tax, job opportunities and investment from a successful business OR sexy to the masses sounding "nationalisation" that will result in run-down unproductive mismanaged businesses? Short-sighted tunnel-vision pricks. The saying "slaughtering the chicken that lays the golden eggs" comes to mind.

Jimmy, you are deserving of a sub-domain of the website in my sig....

The only reason the mines show profit (barely) is because they are run as commercial ventures. You and Malema think that minerals in the ground equals masses of money but what you fail to realise is the vast effort, logistics and expertise it takes to turn ton after ton of ore and rock into something valuable like pure gold, platinum and diamonds. What you fail to realise is that without the people who have been doing it forever all this 'mineral wealth' of which you speak is worthless. Simply giving 50% of perceived profits away in an attempt to keep people voting ANC means the mines fail to be profitable and the clever people wont bother doing anything because there will be no point.

What you currently have however is one of the largest groups of employers who make huge contributions to the state coffers in the form of taxes, who generate huge amounts of foreign currency. Take all that away and what is left? Disgruntled ANC members who suddenly blame the ANC for their unemployment and state of poverty.

On second thoughts..... VIVA NATIONALISATION VIVA.

The mind boggles....

My criticism of Malema on this issue is that he is a hyopocrite. You cannot be a champion of the poor, advocate socialism (Nationalisation) whilst being rich from "capitalism" or rather "corporatism"/"facism".

He criticises "rich white Sandton boys" but then uses them as an excuse for his own personal wealth (If they can have it why can't I)
