So is uploading 'illegal' and is seeding also 'ilegal' then?
 
Get a peerblocker to avoid getting caught.

Or, even better get something like www.downstorm.co.za ... your downloads go faster as its over HTTP and no one will ever know what you are downloading.
 
Seriously though, I hate to join a chorus, but to OP and anyone else:

NO. 1 RULE: NEVER EVER EVER RESPOND TO ONE OF THESE EMAILS! Don't ever say anything, just delete and move on with your life. They (MAFIAA) don't actually know who you are and have no way of finding out. If you reply to protest or apologise (pfft), they will never leave you alone, local laws be damned. They only give a **** about the law when it's in their favour.

Actually the best thing ever is to not waste our time making threads about things like this. These notices have been around for the past 8 years or so and do we REALLY need a new thread everytime someone new gets one?

1. Your ISP will get these reports from the movie/music industry scum

2. Your ISP will forward it on to you

3. Reply and tell your ISP it was your little brother and youve wipped him.

4. Problem solved.

5. Don't pollute the forum with any more of these "OMG I've had a report" posts - we've all had them, LOTS

They should just make a sticky thread called "OMFG I just shat myself, again" or "I just laid a brown egg" where posts like this can be made ^_^
 
Well iv installed peer blocker, to late for the torrents i uploaded and ones that i have seeded but better late than never i guess
 
Has MWEB actually ever cancelled anyone's account for not responding?
 
do not use bittorent:)use filesharing service and there are a lot of filesharing forum.like cyberwarez or warez-bb.just buy rapidshare or hotfile account.or news server like easynews. thats all.happy downloading:)

Nought, Gladis in the "Abuse & Security" Department (as Mweb calls it), just hasn't read her mails for like 5 years, a real possibility for someone who works at Telkom.

or like absolute legends, the Net engineers have marked all this crap as spam, and they just get dropped :D
 
hmm I wonder if MWEB might start to act on these now, since they now have that VOD thing going. Guess you will find out if they will or won't.
