The producers of 'HURT LOCKER' should be sued by the people of Iraq and allied war veterans for making a profanity out of a tragic situation (war) and profiteering from it. I wonder if they paid the COPYRIGHT for licensing the use of IRAQI language, sets depicting IRAQ and portraying the IRAQIS as supporting terrorism and indiscriminate murder of women and children. Up yours Voltage Pictures. Sick pigs.

Of course maybe Voltage pictures recouped their expenses and paid out every cent of profit to Iraq and allied war casualties? I doubt it.

You're not being serious are you? So all movie houses should refrain from expressing creative license when it's real subject matter they're dealing with?

You downloaded a movie illegally, mweb e-mailed you to tell you to delete it, and you now say "WTF" ?

hmm.......righto

Amen. +1 to mweb. lol
Dont steal, and if you do, don't moan.

I am being very serious here. The issue of Copyright is raised on moral grounds by many although the industry wants to convert a civil matter into a criminal one at the same time. With a change in law a moral matter may also become a civil or a criminal too. Voltage pictures made a movie with scenes which depict Iraqis as murderers. They are making money of a sad situation where a civil war exists in a once peaceful country. If this was an anti-war film with a fair amount of money or other benefits going back to the country which was used to make money, it would be morally correct. However, this was not morally right.

At the same time this raises another issue. They depict Iraq in that film and like it or not they change peoples' perceptions of that country. Are Iraqis being paid for that?
After all fair is fair, if Voltage wants to sue people for 'potential losses of income' which IMO is BS as there is no proof to show that those people would have bought the DVD - the issue is one of ethics and morals. Is Hollywood ethically correct to make Iraq look bad and still get paid for it and still sue others who don't pay for watching the debauchery?

To me the issue is very complex and if the Iraqis had better lawyers and paid for lobbyist shills - they'd be suing Voltage Pictures instead.

as its over HTTP and no one will ever know what you are downloading.

Read that again, and then go read up on Layer 7 aka DPI..
