keep e36 or buy i10?

That 325 motor will outlast the hyundai I reckon. They really solid motors, but I'd you look after it you will get plenty mileage. It doesn't sound like a problem car, do I would be inclined to keep it.

I think its a 318 if I recall correctly.

Best car is the one that you own and not owe. My wife has an Atos that is all paid up. I offered to buy her a new car this month (on credit of course) and she declined. She would rather continue to driver her Atos that she owns than an ix35 the bank owns.

Until she's in an accident with an X5. Big crocodile tears.
Work college smashed into a i10 with his BMW. The guy in the i10 didn't make it, he walked out with whiplash.

Yeah yeah ... I've always heard this argument to justify spending insane amounts on cars. We prefer to avoid getting into accidents and its worked so far.

And people in BMWs get killed when trucks hit their cars, and truckers get killed when space ships hit their truck ... blach ... blah

leaps have been made in fuel efficiency, the problem is that the cars get heavier as well

And he complains about fuel consumption? Aint those some of the most ecconomical 4 cylinders around? Power vs Fuel used?

316i auto actually. Did some calcs on the interwebs: getting 9.67 L/100km with the e36 currently. Not as bad as I thought initially.

I have driven an i10 at high speed in cross winds, it handles perfectly. Very stable little car.

I drive a e36, bought and paid for. Just can't beat it. Had the motor overhauled a few years ago. Got 325k on the clock. Still get 570km from a full tank if I drive carefully, which I don't 450km if I screw it a bit.
Best car I ever bought!
