Okay so I just chowed down on some KFC chicken pieces...and regretting it again.

Slimey, way too greasy and semi liquid in places.
It's been like this for a long time, but I dont remember it being this crap back in the day (pre 2000)

Anyone else think the old Kentucky chicken was tons better? It feels like I'm taking crazy pills.

/confiscates Boereraat's crazy pills.

Ja seriously though, people have said the same to me. I actually witnessed my neighbour complaining about it once.

KFC has been bad for a long time, it definitely used to be better a few years back (a good few years).

It is much greasier and dried out than years ago. I refuse to eat it nowadays.

I've wondered what KFC tastes like in the States, should be an interesting comparison.

Well anyway, I've vented my frustration, thanks for listening :D

And that is why I have not eaten KFC in 6-years now. They can keep their boxes of oil with a side order of faux chicken.

The recipe has changed. Something had to be removed or something like that....

Quality has gone down the drain but its as healthy as battered fried chicken can be.

That one sounds awesome! cooked in milk and crisped in oil. Yummmmmmyyyy

That does look good, apart from frying in vegetable shortening, which is very unhealthy.

I would love to try that, the problem of course is what to do with the oil afterwards? I suppose pan frying might work for this though. Last time I tried to pan fry chicken, I burned the coating a little. Probably need a gentler heat over a longer period of time.

The single & double crunch burgers are delicious, I haven't eaten a piece meal from there in ages.

Apparently the overseas versions are way better than the oily crap we get here.
