The plaited koeksisters we get up in Joburg and the stuff you get in CT are completely different. Those I've had in Joburg are not the crispy, syrup-soaked ones. I miss Joburg :(

Fast mover - you were single the last time we spoke :p

He says that to all the ladies...

hahahah round 2 with the same one

ava the jhb ones are terrible lol

everything else in jhb is good tho

Hahaha, my wife goes to that church at times, but I don't trust you close to my wife :D

He upgraded to Chrome and discovered Ctrl + Shift + N :whistling:

hahaha ...yay you can bring for me lol

As far as I'm concerned, porn mode has always been activated by the power button...

Are you telling me that I have to type in www.howtokillallamericansandhavesexwithlesbianmidgetgoats.com from now on instead of googling it?

Or just bookmark it like the rest of us have done. That site has the best ads.

Fool you once, shame on her; fool you twice... :p

I often pick up freshly baked koeksisters on Sunday mornings from Hanover Bakery in Fordsburg .
Get there early tho because they go like hot koesisters.

yep I also found out the difference this year... I always used to wonder about how the two that look and taste completely different could be called the same thing.

Then I heard my muslim friends pronounce it koeSIEStas and it was one of those "OOOhhh" moments... they also never use drumstick, always boutjie. For some reason that raped my mind.

This thread is making me homesick. My malay neighbor in Salt River (CPT) made fresh koesisters every Sunday morning. Would go there with a bowl and fetch a dozen or 2 ... was so naaice...

Probably not gonna find that here in Pretoria East :/

There's a place in Pretoria West (Laudium) called Super Bake and Take that do both koek's and koes's.
