Here's an interesting thought.

The ANCYL wants to get rid of the Kruger Statue because it's a "reminder of apartheid".

That means everything that is a "reminder of apartheid" must go, right?

Since the ANCYL keeps reminding people about apartheid, does that mean they must go too?

I have seen a lot of countries. There is a lot of racisim in our country. But for most part its comming from a power drunk majority that is now in power. That doesnt enjoy peace as history has shown and is pushing for civil war. Clearly they dont have any intrest in creating a unity nation. No divide the people then steel from them. Let their quality of life sink lower and lower.

Its truly a shame. I dont see race at all I have so many friends from each colour religion and back ground. I hate that people are falling for this properganda to destroy a great nation. The "Boers"came to South Africa all that they wanted was peace. The Brits wanted bloodshead. Dont fall for the hate that the Goverment is creating and inbeding in peoples minds.

anc and ancyl, they will ONLY "change" all the buildings' names or cities names to the name they want.

The reason for "renaming" is not because they have no money or no space to build some new buildings or cities. It is. .................

They do realise that two statues can stand next to each other right? Both would be part of our history. Boers didn't rename Cookhouse and Port Elizabeth after the English left, even though they stuck our children in concentration camps. The renaming is petty. Shows lack of maturity and an inferiority complex.

Lots of places in SA kept the names given to them by the English colonisers and NOT by the apartheid govt, as you rightly said.

I like your idea of the statues next to each other. Is also shows that there is place for everyone in SA.

There seems to be a strong need for revenge.

That's pretty much it. There are plenty of countries out there that left the old in place, it's part of history. The ANC on the other hand is trying to rewrite history but we all you can't undo today what was done in the past. Why don't they treat everything created by the white people the same and remove the roads, buildings, hospitals, airplanes etc yet they love the western bling while they cohort with their commie/socialist comrades.

That is my biggest problem with tearing down historic things. So we are tearing down sites that travellers will want to see as part of the new SA's history. The path we walked.
Breaking down does not make sense. It is part of SA. And yes it still fresh for the current people but in 100 years time more people will be interested in these historic sites.

Are they not proud off the way the country has come? By tearing it down they seems to be ashamed and want to hide it, why?


But maybe we should send the Village Idiot some of the loo paper to wipe the Shyte from his mouth because he is spewing it again
