@lantic R59 uncapped 'bolt-on' feedback

Doesn't look like it.

Product being phased out. Understandable considering performance vs price.

Still waiting on VOX's new uncapped accounts to launch. If they treated with the same respect as the bolt-on product they could be very worthwhile...

There is a difference as the uncapped will have a published fair use policy. I'm not sure when it's being launched, I know it's ready though. Looking at the product with consumer eyes, it's damn good.

Feel free to inbox me with details! :p

Uncapped has been butchered in SA, thanks in large to MWEB's free the web campaign.

If your uncapped accounts perform anywhere near your capped/bolt-on products, with reasonable usage thresholds, it could do very very well.

It will :) The thresholds are very fair.

Give us hints or atleast a math equation that someone here can figure out :D. NDA pffft

Want to say thanks for being on the forum [Voxy and the rest of the team]. Having the mybb community also helped too.

A bit offtopic but anything special planned for the mybroadband conference? Are you going to be there?

I can't give hints just yet.

I thought about going to MyBB conference but haven't registered yet; but from a company POV I don't think we are going there.

Okay, worth a try and disappointed to see you guys not coming there this year. So much exposure to be had :).

Do keep us updated nevertheless ;)

im almost at the point of the 25gb + Bolt-on. my numbers are coming in close to that amount but get far less gb. just afraid of losing this sweet ass bolt-on in its current form.

i still have an original bolt on i dont even use :/
too bad i cant transfer ownership

Whats the speeds like on the bolt-on if say a user does 120gb a month? Is it star-rated or network dependent?

I'm currently on the Incredible Connection R99pm 2mb promo account but that is heavily shaped between 8am-6pm and then I have to swap to an Afrihost 20gb account that sets me back another R49 so I'm looking at changing to the fat-pipe lite + bolt-on.

Bolt on is unshapped and unlimited. Think my usage was roughly 200gb last month. That is just bolt on. During the day I use Afrihost free gig plus a few extra as needed.

Edit. Speeds. I get roughly 10Mbps on torrents and any other downloads.

Dota2 1gb update downloaded in 15 to 20 minutes.

Speeds are excellent. Rate limited to 10mb so, doesn't effect you on your 2mb line.

No discernible shaping/throttling/managing. I did over 400gb last month on mine.

Yup. Have never ran into shaping off any kind on Bolt On. Fantastic product for streaming without a care in the world all weekend.

Hang on. I'm really confused now. What is no longer available to new customers?

I was pretty much set to sign up for 25GB Fatpipe Lite + Unlimited Bolt-On + probably an average of about 25GB a month of OOB extra weekday data usage.

Is the Unlimited Bolt-on now no longer available for new customers signing up for a Fatpipe Lite account or are you all talking about some even cheaper deal that was available way back in the @lantic days?

- Julian

Indeed.

You could sign up for the Bolt On alone for R59 in the past. That has since been stopped.

The new product is FatPipe Light + Bolt On for R148 as you posted.

Sweet. Thanks for the feedback. I might as well upgrade my line to 4mbps if it's such good value :)
