@lantic R59 uncapped 'bolt-on' feedback

This is the only thing that scares me about fat pipe.

"There is no cap-enforcement on this product, i.e. if the package is 50GB a user will be notified at 80% and will not be capped at 100% but will move straight to out of bundle"

OOB shark could bite should you not watch your account closely when you get to your limit.

Where did you read that? In the control panel the default additionalgigs is set to 0 so it should be capped when your gigs are finished? It worked like that on the gig4gig package.... Will test the fatpipe and let you know.

On the fat pipe 50GB + uncapped bolt on product; does @lantic consider Saturday mornings to be business hours, or are the entire weekend from Friday evening 6pm to Monday morning 6am considered after hours (uncapped)?

There are ISP's out there that consider Saturday morning's to be business hours.

Anyways I just like the fact that R248 gives you 50GB daytime and uncapped after hours and weekend unshaped access.

This is the downfall of IS. Brilliant unshaped weekends with IS but then you suffer the next week because of low stars.

Completely uncapped and unshaped if you take a unshaped capped product from 6pm Friday to 6am Monday. :D

Right, and this is why I hate ISP's that YOU HAVE TO RELY ON HUMANS to get anything done and don't have a DIY function!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I applied for the gig 4 gig option yesterday at 6am. Activation was instant! I then applied for the bolt on and received an auto response email that someone would contact me. As of 17:30 I had heard nothing, so I emailed support.

To date I still haven't heard anything.

VOX, GIVE US DAMN DIY FUNCTIONALITY!

SO PISSED OFF, CAN YOU TELL?

Hmmm that doesn't sound right cause they did switch my uncapped bolt on in only 10min after I sent a email on a Saturday.... Maybe I was just lucky.... Worth the wait though.

I just called them now, they have no record on their system and aren't open now and I must phone back monday.

Here's a copy of the mail I received below:

I don't know, maybe I did something wrong as there is no name in there.

Indeed, got a mail this morning confirming the good news. :)

Bring on 6pm, I will pass the time with the next ep of The Walking Dead :D

Missed it.... OMG

Working just fine on my side...

My problem the past few days pertain to being capped when I still have lots of cap left in the day.:
Code:
Data Used 0.12 GB
Data Available 0.88 GB
118.00 MB used with an allocated cap of 1000.00 MB
