@lantic R59 uncapped 'bolt-on' feedback

Vox -

1. can you fix up your "Daily usage" graph (which is screwed-up again, like once during last month). Both the Peak & Off-peak orange & green lines extend right across the page.

2. The usage figures themselves are also currently incorrect - I used about 600 Megs. last night and it's only showing a handful for Peak & about 25 for Off-peak (on that same page) ; on the Data Account page, things are way-off as well.

I'm sure everyone else's must be displaying incorrectly, so it must be how your system's capturing + representing the data - this type of thing is a recurring problem (every month a different variation of this theme).

Vox usage from the weekend not even displaying in Daily Usage graph, therefore cannot trust the total on the landing page. One of the lines still extends across the pg.

What do people - ESPECIALLY VOXY - do there, besides collect salaries ?

Most frustrating,

This problem has been ongoing for weeks now with no clear answer (all due respect the architect, this is something that he should be looking into)

and it's back again - spotty connections to MyBB - slow, timeouts - argh!

Speedtest is fine - 8.36

My Vox account has not been performing since the weekend. These are my usage stats, as you can see Wednesday and Thursday was fine but then the weekend it was terrible

Bolt-on accounts are all limited to 10Mbit.

Hi Psy, since when is this. I noticed over the weekend, that I'm not getting higher then 10-11 on 20Mb line. Have not downloaded for a while and could not understand why I'm only getting 10Mb.
Also my IP TV is not working so nicely any more. My HD channels are starting to buffer now and then. This account is getting worse. It is a good price, but the quality is not what it used to be 2 Years ago. How is their Fat Pipe, does someone knows. Does it run smooth. Are you guys using it for Netflix and other streaming services. Or should i look in to something else for my IP TV needs.

They limited it since last week Friday or Thursday IIRC.

I know that the Cape Town IPC is pretty farked at the moment, not sure where you are based.
I have not been able to use my bolt-on much recently due to me being busy and not having time although when I last used it I was able to max out my line while streaming so I can't imagine HD channels buffering unless they use significantly more than YouTube 1080P and some Twitch source streams.
Even if you get 900KB/s it is still pretty fast and decent for an HD stream IMO.

As for Fatpipe, you will probably get similar performance compared to their bolt-on, just without the speed limitation.

didn't that dude say they got more capacity weeks ago already? has that been gobbled up already?

I'm still so peed off with Vox for handling this like they did.

I've also noticed my Netflix is much slower now, I can barely reach 1080p now which takes about 5 minutes to get there. Tested on my Telkom account and it shot to full 5800Kbps 1080p in about 30 seconds.

so they limiting everything? communication sux. why no tell us whats going on. deja vu feeling. OW all over again.

We all knew this product was too good to be true from the get go. It's not sustainable and that's why we tried our best not to talk about it openly to avoid take up from other 'bandwidth hogs' (as some companies like to call us). The same thing happened at OW and MWEB. I guess the honeymoon period is over and we'll have to find something that can sustain our insatiable need for quality broadband.

im just hoping the hogs just find something and leave...

I wish their support will be better... I logged a ticket the other day... One guy phoned me in day time just to tell me he will phone me back........ That was about a week ago

For PC, press "CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+S" & on PS4 hit the L3 button [i think] to show current bitrate. AFAIK only PC allows bitrate adjustment in browser. Not too sure about other platforms & media devices.

/this is not a silly question :o

My thoughts exactly. When the clock strikes 6pm, the speed on my 2mb line plummets like a rock to approx 10kB/s. Very frustrating.

Is it just the bolt-on giving issues at the moment or affecting fat pipe/g4g users as well?

VOX online support is officially dead. been trying almost 2 hours to get hold of them without any success...

Hi,

PM me your account number and contact details and I will ensure that someone contacts you shortly.
