Haha I also got the phishing notification from them. Funny they can get that out but not changes to the bolt-on product.
I couldnt even get my bolt-on to connect last night at about 18:30

Haven't used my bolt on for ages and gave it a run last night - from after 21:00 to just before 06:00 worked pretty much 100% with a constant DL.

For me this account is great but I do understand for those who were getting 40 megs to now be dropped to 10 is frustrating.

Seems like I missed something. Is the bolt-on no longer compatible with VDSL at full speed (i.e. it is throttled to 10mbps)?

(And just when I was considering upgrading)

From what I read, it's in their terms and conditions now. 10mbps max.

What are usual turnaround times with vox support? I asked them to activate the bolt-on early afternoon, but had no confirmation or reply from them yet...

Guess the ISP time:

Also, kind of funny, there doesn't seem to be a way to apply for a new service from within their portal when you're logged in...

So sad...

This is what I had as well last night :(

Thus VOX Cape Town IPCs are still congested with high latency, even after :
- IPC upgrade and
- after 10Mbps account limit on Bolt-On.

Actually there is some higher latency during the day too at times.

Vox -

1. can you fix up your "Daily usage" graph (which is screwed-up again, like once during last month). Both the Peak & Off-peak orange & green lines extend right across the page.

2. The usage figures themselves are also currently incorrect - I used about 600 Megs. last night and it's only showing a handful for Peak & about 25 for Off-peak (on that same page) ; on the Data Account page, things are way-off as well.

I'm sure everyone else's must be displaying incorrectly, so it must be how your system's capturing + representing the data - this type of thing is a recurring problem (every month a different variation of this theme).

Mines was actually pretty friggen awesome, very nice low ping and I was downloading the new Nvidia drivers through the Nvidia Experience app constantly over 1Mbyte/s.

Streaming from Twitch on source didn't buffer once.

Yep, noticing the same here too. Was getting as bad at times as it was before the IPC upgrade.

Mine also totally shows incorrect. I've only used mine offpeak yesterday and already it shows my Gig4Gig is completed (I have 2Gb).

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
I am looking into it.

Hi,

We were experiencing problems last night but it should have been rectified.
Please let me know if you still have not been contacted.

Regards Voxy

@Voxy,

when will the IPC links in Cape Town be upgraded? They have high latency and congestion again in the evens from 6pm to mignight, including MyBB doesn't load, again.
