@lantic R59 uncapped 'bolt-on' feedback

Is everybody that's struggling in the Cape area? I'm in KZN and getting full speed on my 2 Mbps line. Don't know if it mainly affects the faster lines?

I think all the Cape guys are struggling the most.
Rest of the country has 10mbps max these days.
So for you being at 2mbps in KZN you probably wouldnt be affected.

i had to drop from a 4m to a 2m adsl line, but i thinks its more telkom related and not vox, but even on the my 2m line i had the my BB connect syndrome......:confused:

Well I get my 10Mbps so am very happy. Don't notice much shaping on p2p ect, but I do notice 30ms latency instead of 7ms latency on the IPC links in Cape Town.

AFAIK 10 mbps is the max so will always be limited to this speed

I know that. But when mika1000 said he had full speed I assumed more than 10mbps. But he is probably in CT with the IPC issues and now getting full speed.

What is the minimum number of normal gigs you need to buy to get the bolt on? Thinking of giving this a try as I only really need off peak and am in need of a new ISP from next month
